tell us where the books stand.
A few lines about your business — the software you use, roughly how many transactions a month, and whether you run payroll — lets us come to the first call already prepared.

We reply within one business day with next steps and a time for the introductory call. No obligation until a scope is signed.

the introductory call
what to have on hand.
Nothing formal is required — but if these are within reach, the first thirty minutes go further and the written scope comes back sharper.
your current software
Whether you keep books in QuickBooks Online, Xero, a spreadsheet, or nothing yet — just tell us which. You keep ownership of the file either way.
a sense of volume
Roughly how many transactions clear each month, and how many bank or card accounts are in play. Estimates are fine — they set the scope.
your payroll picture
Headcount, pay frequency, and whether you file in Iowa only. If you don't run payroll yet, say so — we can set it up.
the last clean period
If the books are behind, the date they were last reconciled tells us the size of any catch-up work — quoted separately from the monthly engagement.
